The Plans
So the project plans are to make it look like a 1997 Rover mini sport. (Right)
To complete this I will be doing the following; (plus a lot more I am sure.)
Body restoration:
- Rust removal, Painted Velocity red with a white pearl roof and bonnet stripes
Engine conversion: - From 998cc Auto to 1275cc Manual Single Point Injection
- The head will be ported and bigger inlet valves added. Extractors, K&N Air filter kit, Sports exhaust
Suspension: - Coil springs will replace the original cones along with new gas adjustable struts
Interior: - Front & rear seats to be re upholstered in anthracite cloth with red stitching and red inserts. New head lining, parcel shelf, dash pad, lower dash pad, carpet, door trims, and rear ¼ trims. (full interior basically)
