The finished product "The Beast"

Well the project has finally come to an end. On Saturday the 9th April 2011 I sanded and polished the RH guard, fitted the front wheel arches, gave it a basic wheel alignment, cleaned it up and pronounced it as finished. I started it in June 2010 so it has now been 10 months.
Below are the photos I took of it on Saturday. Looks great. I also took the family for a drive in the afternoon and it ran smoothly. The new coil suspension is awesome, such a smooth ride. In fact, the whole car just ran like a dream.

Thanks to those who helped along the way with problem solving, painting, ideas, and support.
Big thanks to my wife Merin for being supportive and putting up with me for the past 10 months, also my brother Justin for the excellent paint job and advice on preparing the body for paint.
